Summer offers us a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather and enjoy a variety of physical activities. Here, we provide tips to get the most out
of your summer workout!
- Stay hydrated with cool fluids throughout your activity (primarily water) while avoiding excessive caffeine intake
- Take your fitness to the pool by taking part in a refreshing aquatic workout, either swimming laps or with a water aerobics class
- Enjoy a long hike through a local park while wearing proper sunscreen and light-fabric clothing
- Take part in a new exercise class such as Pilates or Spinning to work different muscles and make some new friends
- For a more non-traditional form of exercise, spend a day in the garden on the weekend, an activity that burns calories while also allowing you to indulge
in a new hobby
