Are you ready to get moving or turn it up a notch? To push yourself to walk, run, bike, kayak, skateboard—whatever—on a regular basis? Or maybe you’re inspiring students, family members, friends, or colleagues to get fit. No matter who you are, we can help!

You Are What You Eat

Exercise alone is not enough. You’ve got to eat better, too. By following some easy healthy eating goals, you can make positive changes in the food department.

Get Your Head in the Game

Joints, muscles, bones, heart, lungs—they are all pretty important when it comes to being healthy and getting fit. But let’s not forget about the organ that will make or break your progress—your brain. A stressful day at school or the office? Your brain might tell you it’s OK to skip your workout or grab a high-calorie, high-sodium snack, but exercise and a simple snack like an apple or low-fat yogurt are exactly what you need to feel better.

Clearly, the brain needs encouragement too. That’s what we’re here for. In this section:

  • We’ll tell you why fitness is important for your mind and body, and give you tips for staying active.
  • Our goal-setting pointers will help you stay on the right track.
  • You’ll find tips on fueling your body with the healthy stuff it needs.
  • We’ll help you do the math and figure out your body-mass index.

What are you waiting for? Let’s get moving!
