As a previous State Champion school we want to thank you for taking part in these programs to help keep kids active!

You have been hearing from us since the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year about the new Presidential Youth Fitness Program. This message is to make you aware that our transition to exclusive use of the new program is nearly complete. Please be advised that the retirement of the State Champion competition and Demonstration Centers is now in effect.

We encourage you to continue to inspire your students and schools with these following programs and resources:

Why are we replacing State Champions and Demonstration Centers?

Both programs were used in support of the Physical Fitness Test administered by the President's Challenge for nearly three decades. With the nationwide adoption of Fitnessgram, we look to our partners and the robust resources they have in place to continually refine and improve Fitnessgram. We hope you are as excited as we are about this turning point in youth fitness testing and assessment, one that we feel has enormous potential to positively impact the health of America's youth.

If you have questions not answered here or on the PYFP  Website, please don't hesitate to contact us at

Awards and recognition items for the physical fitness test will continue to be available for schools at this time although we are no longer supporting the test, including the Fitness File software. We highly encourage all schools to make the transition to the Presidential Youth Fitness Program. And take a look at the new awards!
